Is there a membership fee to join your classes?Enrollment for classes requires a non-refundable membership fee. You can pay a “without membership fee” price for our auxiliary programs such as Open Gym, Clinics, Camps, and Birthdays.

How long are your classes and how often do they meet?Recreational classes are 60 minutes and TumbleKids and Tumbling classes are 45 minutes. Classes meet once a week.

How long are your terms?During the school year our terms are either 8 or 7 weeks long. Summer Sessions are 5 weeks each.

What if my child misses a class?Each student is allowed one make-up per term. Make-ups will only be given if we are notified of the absence prior to the start of the class.

How do I know what class to put my child in?Our TumbleKids classes are age-based. Recreational classes depend on their skill level. If you are not sure what is best for your child, you can request an evaluation or call our office.

What does my child need to wear?Gymnasts should wear clothing that allows freedom of movement. Shorts, T-shirts, leggings and/or leotards are good choices (no tights that cover feet, skirts, or tutus, please). Long hair must be tied back and jewelry removed prior to entering the gym.

When can my child move up?It is skill-based. Once a child has mastered the skills at their level, a staff member will recommend what comes next.

What age can children start at Kids Gym?Our TumbleKids Program starts at age 1 (they do not need to be walking) with a parent. Our Recreational Program goes through age 14.

How does my child make it onto the competitive team?Our recreational staff will recommend students to the Team Directors. They look for coachability, enthusiasm, strong skills, and work ethic.

Do I need to stay during my child’s class?If you are not enrolled in a with-parent class, you do not need to stay during your child’s class unless they are younger and need assistance going to the restroom.
